Hi, Terroirist readers!

I’ve just returned from a week-long trip exploring the cities and wine regions of Alsace and Burgundy. Highlights include touching the soil in Burgundy, drinking super bright and acidic wines in Alsace, attending a classical music concert and dinner at Clos Vougeot, and eating more Époisses than should ever be allowed.

  1. Is the last picture on your facebook page from the Aupres du Clocher in Pommard? The epoisses dipped in epoisses is one of the best things I have ever eaten. My wife and I just got back from a similar trip to Alsace and Burgundy.

  2. Yes! (And sorry, this is a super delayed response!) It WAS at Auprès du Clocher. New goal for my life = To eat that again.
